The adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, from where we'll head southeast through the valley. Our first stop will be Tipón, located 1 hour and 15 minutes from the city of Cusco. This Inca archaeological complex is famous for its advanced water channeling system. Its fountains, terraces, and aqueducts, which continue to function to this day, demonstrate the hydraulic engineering of the ancient Inca Empire and their spiritual connection to water. Finally, we'll board our transport to Andahuaylillas, a picturesque colonial town that is home to one of the most beautiful churches on the continent: the Church of San Pedro Apóstol, also known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas." Its interior is richly decorated with frescoes, gilded altarpieces, and 17th-century paintings; this visit will set it apart from many others. After exploring these three unique places, we'll return to the city of Cusco in the afternoon, our hearts filled with history, art, and Andean beauty.
