This tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 am to transfer you to the train station in Ollantaytambo. The road trip takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to reach the station.
Once there, we will board the Inca Rail Voyager train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Upon disembarking, our representative will be waiting to take you to the bus station for the journey to the Inca citadel. You will have free time to purchase a snack. Then, at approximately 9:00 am, we will take the tourist bus with your guide for approximately 25 minutes to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
Entry to Machu Picchu will be around 10:00 am, followed by a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours. Prepare to connect with the history, architecture, and energy of the Inca culture as our guide shares the stories and mysteries of the lost city. After the visit, you will descend by bus to Machu Picchu Pueblo.
It is important to note that you must arrive at the train station 30 minutes early. Your return Voyager train may depart at 2:30 pm or 4:12 pm (depending on availability and prior arrangements made during booking), so your arrival time at the station will be 2:00 pm or 3:45 pm respectively.
