  1. Passport, visa, immigration, and health requirements

Your passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility.

Most countries require a passport to have a certain period of validity, such as 6 months or blank pages.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you process your visa and that you have the correct documentation to allow entry and exit from the country.

We can provide general information about passport and visa requirements for your trip. However, your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm them with the relevant embassies and/or consulates.

Neither we, nor the supplier(s) accept any liability if you are unable to travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. Please note that these requirements may change between booking and departure.

Health requirements and vaccinations are regularly updated in various destinations and may change at any time. We suggest that you consult your doctor before you leave at least 6 weeks before departure. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained all necessary vaccinations for your trip and in accordance with your doctor’s recommendations before traveling. We do not accept any liability if you are unable to travel as a result of your failure to comply with the necessary health requirements.

We can provide general information about any health formalities required for your trip, but you should consult with your own doctor to learn about your specific circumstances.

If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, be sure to check with your doctor before traveling. We cannot give medical advice of suitability to travel if you are planning a trip or if you are pregnant, nor can we give advice about infections or contagious diseases on site. You should receive advice on suitability to travel before booking a holiday.

  1. Travel Insurance

You must purchase suitable travel insurance as a condition of your contract with us. Your insurance must cover the costs of cancellation, early/unexpected reduction of your holiday, medical and repatriation expenses, in addition to personal accidents and loss/damage/delay of your luggage or personal effects. If you do not purchase travel insurance to protect you and your party against these risks, we will not be liable for any losses you incur that might otherwise have been protected by insurance.

  1. Excursions

Excursions or other tours that you may choose to book or pay for while on vacation or prior to departure through Meta Travel Peru, but which are not included in your itinerary, are not part of the vacation package we provide to you. In this scenario, with respect to any excursion or other tour you book, your contract will be with the operator of the excursion or tour and not with us. We are not responsible for the provision of the excursion or tour or anything that happens during the course of its provision by the operator.

All optional tours and/or excursions booked with Meta Travel Peru at the time of booking and included in your itinerary will be included in your package travel contract with us.

To process your booking and ensure that your travel arrangements meet your requirements, we will use the information you provide to us. For more information about how we use and keep your data secure, please see our Privacy Policy.

  1. Special Requests and Reduced Mobility

If you have any specific medical or mobility requirements, you must advise us before booking and confirm the details of your requirements in writing to ensure that your chosen holiday suits your needs. Please inform us of any medical or mobility requirements by emailing to: metatravelperu@gmail.com A member of our team will contact you to discuss and confirm the suitability of your proposed holiday before booking. In the event that we consider that your chosen destination or supplier is unable to meet the requirements necessary for your benefit, we must reserve the right to refuse or cancel your booking and charge the relevant cancellation fee (if your requirements are informed after you have confirmed your booking). Therefore, to avoid unnecessary charges, it is imperative that you inform us of any specific medical or mobility requirements before confirming your booking with us. We cannot accept any liability if you do not inform us of your requirements and it turns out that your holiday is not suitable for your needs or that you have not been able to travel as a result.

  1. Brochure/Website and Price Accuracy

We cannot pay any compensation for events that are beyond our control or that of our suppliers.

It is common for facilities and services to be less available, both in your accommodation and at your destination resort, outside of peak season periods. We cannot accept responsibility in those circumstances.

The information in our brochures is correct at the time of printing. However, as this occurs many months before your holiday, and despite careful controls, errors or changes may occur after the date of publication. If we become aware of such errors, we will of course endeavour to inform you before booking. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our website.

In exceptional cases, errors may occur when entering prices in our booking system or website. We regret that any contract concluded on the basis of an incorrect price will not be valid. In the unlikely event that such a situation arises, you will be given the option to pay the correct price or cancel with a full refund.
