CARBON OFFSETTING
When it comes to climate change, our planet needs us to do more to help restore its natural balance, we are committed to the long-term success of planting trees to offset CO2. We select native trees and shrubs that will thrive in every climate and work with local communities and organizations to ensure everyone benefits.
Each bespoke Meta Travel trip is individually calculated by its carbon cost and our customers can choose to offset their trip, if they choose. For those who choose to participate, a certain number of saplings will be planted at key sites across Peru that will offset carbon emissions over the next ten years. This is our commitment, so customers will only have to pay for 50% of the trees needed to make up for their holiday.
We want our legacy to be positive, and for us that means choosing suppliers across the country who have the same values as us, protecting our planet and preserving it for future generations.
